No matter the language, Juana believes that in our extraordinary world, a “Hello” in any language draws a smile! Having travelled extensively, she has seen it, from the merchants in Moroccan souks, a German Marktplatz and in Mexican Mercados, she claimed that people are simply people everywhere: diverse in shape, size, and color but all part of God’s creative design.

Juana loves to travel, but says "Don’t get me wrong—I also treasure my home life. There’s nothing better than enjoying my morning coffee in my Florida lanai in my pajamas, surrounded by my family, but there’s just something about pulling out the luggage and packing for the next adventure!"

Juana is always ready for the next journey and reminds us all what Bilbo Baggins said, "I think I'm quite ready for another adventure!"

Olivia

Olivia's passion for global cultures began early - she embarked on her first international journey at just 6-yrs and has been exploring the world ever since. As an adult, she transformed that lifelong love of travel into a career as a flight attendant, gaining firsthand experience in international destinations and exceptional guest courtesies.

Today, Olivia brings that same enthusiasm and expertise to On The Way Inspirational Journeys, where she is dedicated to helping others experience the wonder of travel. She enjoys photography and is a budding author, having just published her first children's book. Born and raised in Denver, CO, she continues to make her home there with her husband Jordan and their three dogs and three geckos.

Jordan

Jordan was born and raised in Denver, CO, and brings a strong technical background and dedicated work ethic to our team. He currently works for the City of Parker, CO; additionally he oversees Tech & Web for On The Way Inspirational Journeys, and serves as a Consultant for other businesses.

A passionate traveller, Jordan has explored many destinations alongside his wife, Olivia. He especially loves immersing himself in new cultures—Greece remains his favorite country, thanks to its unforgettable cuisine and special memories of his new-found Greek friends (family). Known for his exceptional talent and genuine demeanor, Jordan is welcomed and appreciated wherever he's found.

Stephen

Co-Founder / President

More than three decades Stephen had the privilege of leading teams in his corporate and ministry career, both involving travel. Now there is nothing he loves more than introducing the nations to people, he says it's like watching a child open presents at Christmas - eyes wide open & big smiles!

Most recently Stephen served as Executive Director of Global Ministries for Dr. Marilyn Hickey (Denver) overseeing her worldwide events for 25 years that led him to some of the most unique and exotic places on earth delivering the Love of God. He credits Dr. Hickey as the most outstanding leader & mentor while enjoying the friendship of her motherly passion and love for Christ. Prior to that, he worked at Walt Disney World Company in Human Resources Management and was an Instructor at Disney University Business Seminars.

Stephen and his wife DeDee, met at Southeastern University (FL); following graduation and walking down-the-aisle (now married 44 years) they relocated to Texas where Stephen attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. They now live in North Florida and have a daughter, Olivia, who lives in Denver with her husband Jordan.

DeDee

DeDee, for more than forty-years, has been an inspiring motivator and educator. When she and Stephen were at the university she decided to build her career in Education. Looking back now, she smiles and holds dear within her heart, at how God used her in Jewish, Catholic, Evangelical and Public classrooms, along with home-schooling her daughter. She says the key to learning, no matter the age, is "making it fun"!

Now retired from her professional career, DeDee is excited about inviting you to join her and Stephen as they go On The Way. She is known for her welcoming and infectious personality, keen sense of wit and most of all, loving others to make a difference in the lives around her. She always says that 'your smile' (a language of its own) is the most important thing one can wear and it will open doors in any culture! She too, has travelled extensively.

DeDee loves to pray while journeying through the nations; she and Stephen were blessed with their daughter Olivia who came into their lives after a long-awaited miracle of 17 years - DeDee attributes this blessing to the faithful process of prayer. She loves witnessing the same miracles in the nations.
